Job Description

 The South Adams County Water & Sanitation District (SACWSD), dedicated to providing affordable and sustainable water resources to its customers, is seeking an individual to join the IT Department.

 

This position will provide support to the Districts IT systems and software including: 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user IT hardware/software/network issues
  • Analyze, recommend, purchase, install and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, phones, radios, mobile devices, and audio-visual systems
  • Maintain security systems - door, gate, card key readers, and security cameras
  • Perform upgrades, updates, backups, to servers and physical networks
  • Support database and applications with an understanding of SQL Server and can perform simple SQL queries
  • Thorough knowledge of system security and be able to proactively monitor system logs including anti-virus, anti-spam, and malware protection systems
  • Train end users on systems and software usage best practices

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience, with demonstrated technical support experience.

 

Proficient, demonstrated technical troubleshooting capabilities. Solid experience with MS Office, MS operating systems SQL, reporting and networking. Solid experience with a variety of AV, phone systems, mobile devices, and radios helpful. Ability to work independently with solid problem solving, customer service and communication skills necessary.

 

Successful candidate will be required to complete a drug screen and background check prior to employment.

 

Annual Salary Range: $62,500 - $85,000
